Private aircraft may land at the airfield in Tillamook or at Nehalem Bay State Airport in Nehalem Bay State Park which serves Manzanita and the Nehalem Bay Area and is owned by Oregon Aero Div. The paved runway extends for 2350 feet. The facility is at an elevation of 22 feet at a distance of about 2 miles from Manzanita..

By Bus:  Tillamook County's bus, The Wave, leaves from Portland's Union Station. There is a Metro bus from the airport to Union Station or take the Max line to one of the outlying stations served by The Wave. The Wave traverses Tillamook County, providing service to Manzanita, Nehalem, Wheeler, Rockaway Beach, Garibaldi, Bay City, Tillamook, Hebo and Cloverdale and from these locations to Portland. Connections can be made for Oceanside, Netarts, Pacific City, and Cape Kiwanda. For further information and schedules, see the Tillamook County Transportation District web site.

TCTD also provides inexpensive Dial-a-Ride services which are available by calling 503.815.8283.

By Train:  Amtrak offers north-south train service to and from Portland and Seattle (called the Pacific Northwest Corridor) and connections to points east. You can also connect with The Wave (see above) at the Portland Amtrak station. Amtrak provides some bus service to the coast (for train passengers only). See their web site for details.
