The Youth Center of the North County Recreation District was founded in 1991 by a group of citizen volunteers committed to improving the lack of recreational opportunities available for youth in the
Nehalem Bay area.

Today the North County Recreation District offers a wide variety of youth activities and programs,
open to both resident and visiting young people alike.
