Instructor: Bonnie Morrissey is a dance/movement therapist and licensed psychologist-master in private practice in Burlington, Vermont. She has been studying, practicing, and teaching Authentic Movement over the course of 30 years.

Description: Join us for an introductory workshop in "Authentic Movement", a body-based meditative practice through which we explore the attentive witnessing of spontaneous body movement. In an evolving dynamic, the relationship between "inner witness" and "mover" in each of us develops, encouraging the ability to listen internally in a deep, concentrated, and intuitive way. The practice of authentic movement is useful in developing an embodied spirituality, accessing sources of creative inspiration, and promoting psychological health. No prior experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable clothing.
